from holding any paid job

from working on a ship operating
offshore or freighted for
cabotage navigation. |

This visa is good for multiple
entries within the visa's
duration. Please note that
even when the validity of
the visa exceeds 90 days,
authorized stays are for a
maximum of 90 days per visit
(if necessary, an extension
may be obtained with the Federal
Police in Brazil, if requested
prior to the expiration of
the authorized stay; special
requirements apply). |

will be issued on a "laissez-passer"
to nationals of the following
countries: Bhutan, Central
African Republic, Comoros,
Taiwan. |

of certain countries (Argentina,
Austria, Belgium, Chile, Colombia,
Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador,
Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Iceland, Ireland,
Israel, Italy, Luxembourg,
Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, the
Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay,
Peru, the Philippines, Poland,
Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia,
South Africa, South Korea,
Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,
Suriname, Thailand, United
Kingdom, Uruguay, and the
Vatican) do not require a
visa to enter Brazil on a
business trip provided: the
stay does not exceed 90 days;
it does not involve in-country
provision of services of any
nature; traveler is not a
flight/ship crew member without
an international crew card;
traveler is not a crew member
nor an oil/gas specialist
providing services within
Brazilian waters; traveler
is not a crew member serving
aboard a vessel involved in
cabotage transport; travel
does not involve journalistic
activities nor film making;
and travel is not for the
purpose of adopting a Brazilian
child. |

Nationals from certain countries require consultation with the proper authority in Brazil prior to the issuing of their visas. In these cases an extra fee of KD 12.000 will apply and processing time is a minimum of 15 days. |

nationals must enter and leave
Brazil with their Brazilian
passport only. |

Procedures: |

Submission to the Embassy of the following documents: |
| |
|
1) |
One Visa Application Form per applicant, completely filled out online, signed by the passport holder.
The application form is found at https://scedv.serpro.gov.br. (You will need to print only the receipt page with the bar code: sign it and glue the photo – DO NOT STAPLE IT). |
2) |
One recent passport-photo, front view, white background. |
3) |
Passport valid for minimum 6 months. |
4) |
Residence visa valid for more than 6 months (not applicable for Kuwaitis and Bahrainis); |
5) |
An original letter on your company’s letterhead, in English, informing your job description, the purpose of your trip, who will pay for your expenses and how long you intend to stay in Brazil. In order to expedite your visa, please provide as much information as you can on the activities that you intend to perform in Brazil. Fax or emails are not acceptable. |
6) |
An invitation letter from your company’s counterpart or contact in Brazil, informing the business relationship between the two organizations, how your activities in Brazil will be performed and for how long. |
7) |
If the applicant is self-employed, an additional bank statement of account for the last (3) months will be required. |
8) |
A copy of the round-trip ticket or a booked itinerary showing travel to and from Brazil. |

For all types of visa (except Diplomatic and Official), if the application is not presented in person by the holder of the passport, an extra KD 8 fee will be charged.

The requirements listed are not all-inclusive. When processing a visa submission, the Embassy may request additional information/ documentation/interview. |

All supporting documentation that is not originated in Brazil must be legalized by the Embassy . Copy of Brazilian supporting documents must be notarized by a Notary Public ( Cartório ) in Brazil . |

VISA APPLICATION BY MAIL: |

The Embassy accepts visa submissions by courier service from Bahrain , provided the payment is made at the moment the application is received. A DHL “ Visa Pack Service” (or similar Aramex or TNT's service) is required. |
