Visa Fees
 
There are four different types of fees associated with obtaining a visa. Please read carefully the complete instructions below since more than one fee may apply per visa.
Personal checks, certified checks and credit card charges are not accepted. Money order payable to the “Embassy of Brazil” or exact cash is acceptable.
Processing fees and the Telex fee Fee (in case of consultation) are non-refundable and cannot be added up to the Basic Visa Fee for the purpose of payment.

Reciprocity Fee:
 
 
American citizens must pay KD 39.000 processing fee per visa in reciprocity for an identical fee charged to Brazilian citizens applying for a U.S. visa.

Handling Fee:
 
 
Regardless of nationality, additional fee payment of KD. 3.000 per visa applies to visa submissions made by someone else other than the applicant making the application in person (this fee will not apply either when visa submission is made in person or by an immediate member of applicant's family).

Telex Fee:
 
Additional KD 7.500 per visa (for telex transmission) applies to submissions by citizens of certain countries that require prior consultation to the authorities in Brazil.
