Terms and Conditions:
 
 
Tourist visa holders are prohibited to engage in business, work, or academic activities in Brazil.
 
First arrival in Brazil must take place within 90 days from the date the visa was issued.
 
This visa is good for multiple entries within the visa's duration. Please note that even when the validity of the visa exceeds 90 days, authorized stays are for a maximum of 90 days per visit (if necessary, an extension may be obtained with the Federal Police in Brazil if requested prior to the expiration of the authorized stay; special requirements apply).
 
Citizens of some countries do not require a visa to visit Brazil for tourism purposes, provided the trip is strictly for tourism and stay does not exceed 90 days.
Nationals from certain countries require consultation with the proper authority in Brazil prior to the issuing of their visas. In these cases an extra fee of KD 12.000 will apply and processing time is a minimum of 15 days.
Visa will be issued on a "laissez-passer" to nationals of the following countries: Bhutan, Central African Republic, Comoros, Taiwan.
Brazilian nationals must enter and leave Brazil with their Brazilian passport only.

Procedures:
 
 
Submission to the Embassy of the following documents:
 
 
1)
One Visa Application Form per applicant, completely filled out online, signed by the passport holder.
The application form is found at https://scedv.serpro.gov.br. (You will need to print only the receipt page with the bar code: sign it and glue the photo – DO NOT STAPLE IT).
2)
One recent passport-photo, front view, white background.
3)
Passport valid for minimum 6 months.
4)
Residence visa valid for more than 6 months (not applicable for Kuwaitis and Bahrainis);
5)
An original letter from the company/institution the applicant works for, in English, stating period of present employment, position, salary and visit dates;
6)
Bank guarantee or recent statement of account for the last (3) months;
7)
A copy of your round-trip ticket or a booked itinerary showing travel to and from Brazil;
8)

Hotel reservation;

 

In order to expedite your visa , please provide as much information as you can on the activities that you intend to perform in Brazil

 
Tourism visa fee is KD 8 per visa, except for nationals from:
Australia KD14.000
Canada KD26.000
Japan, Russia KD20.000
Mexico KD12.000
Nigeria KD16.000
United Arab Emirates KD30.000
United States KD52.000
     
 
For all types of visa (except Diplomatic and Official), if the application is not presented in person by the holder of the passport, an extra KD 8 fee will be charged.
 
   
Processing time:
 
-
When applied for in person: 5 working days
-
When applied for by a third party: 10 working days

for applicants under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s), a letter of consent signed by parents is required

-

for participation in conferences/seminars, or artistic or sports events/competition, a letter from the organisers is required, with detailed information on the event and conditions of attendance

if applicant traveled within the last 90 days to any of the following countries: Angola , Bolivia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo , Ecuador, French Guiana, Gabon, Ghana, Gambia, Republic of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru , Sierra Leone, Sudan, or Venezuela, yellow fever vaccination certificate.

Please note that yellow fever vaccination is advisable if applicant's destination in Brazil includes any of the following States: Acre , Amapá, Amazonas , Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso , Mato Grosso do Sul , Pará , Rondônia, Roraima, and Tocantins.

The requirements listed are not all-inclusive. When processing a visa submission, the Embassy may request additional information/ documentation/interview.
 
VISA APPLICATION BY MAIL:
  The Embassy accepts visa submissions by courier service from Bahrain, provided the payment is made at the moment the application is received. A DHL “Visa Pack Service” (or similar Aramex or TNT’s service) is required.
