Power of Attorney
 
Powers-of-attorney must be:
 
 
-
drawn by the interested party, with the signature recognized by the local competent authority (Ministry of Foreign Affairs);
 
-
  legalized by the Embassy of Brazil, after the payment of KD 6.000 (exact cash, money order payable to the Embassy of Brazil)
 
 
If not in Portuguese, powers-of-attorney will require, in order to be legally enforced, to be translated in Brazil by an official translator ("tradutor juramentado").
Brazilian nationals and foreigners holding a valid RNE (Registro Nacional de Estrangeiros) are eligible to apply for a public power-of-attorney drawn by the Embassy, after submitting all the information/documentation and paying the fee of
KD 6.000 (exact cash, money order or certified check payable to the Embassy of Brazil).
