issued in the jurisdiction (Kuwait
and Bahrain) must be validated by
a Brazilian Embassy or Consulate
in order to be officially recognized
in Brazil. This applies to
powers-of-attorney , contracts,
commercial bids, diplomas, school
transcripts, donation letters, and
any document to be introduced at
a judicial court in Brazil. |

Submission
to the Embassy of the original
document to be legalized,
together with the payment
of the appropriate legalization
fee (see below): |

Except
for official documents issued
by a government authority,
and diplomas or school transcripts,
all other papers must be locally
legalized by the competent
authority (Ministry of Foreign
Affairs), prior to their submission
to the Embassy for consular
legalization. The processing
time is 2 to 3 working days,
assuming submission is properly
documented. |
